I’m Matt Johnson. I’m the primary designer and developer behind Simple Creative Design. 

With 20+ years of serving in nonprofit leadership roles in various functions and 10+ years of web and graphic design, I bring significant experience and understanding to each project. But more than that, I genuinely enjoy being the behind-the-scenes support to help organizations look their best so they can thrive. Every website, marketing email, or database is an opportunity to assist in bringing good into the world, one small piece at a time, and I’m here for it!

While I’m the primary individual behind Simply Creative, I have a wide network of amazing friends who do much more specialized work than I do and will occasionally “tag-team” projects to meet client needs. 

In addition to doing the web design gig, I’ve been married for 20 years and have two amazing kids, a velcro pit bull that is my sidekick, a nerite snail that’s over 10 years old, and an orange tabby cat that’s tolerable at best. I cheer for FC Cincinnati and the Chicago Cubs. I’ll always say yes to a good pour of whisk(e)y. I’m an Enneagram 8 with a very healthy 9 wing. I’m slowly becoming a runner.
